The pastas are unique too. We had the Meatball spaghetti (RM30). This tomato-and-olive sauced pasta comes with lamb meatballs with a hard-boiled quail eggs for its centre. Interesting dish but the pasta was a little bit on the salty side because of the olives in the sauce. It would have been better if the spaghetti weren’t overly drenched with sauce. Nevertheless, the meatballs were juicy and soft.
Waffle doesn’t have to be saved for dessert anymore. Then again, there is always space for desserts. Two Son’s Philly Cheese Steak Waffle (RM28) is a waffle sandwich topped with grilled steak slices, sautéed onions, mozzarella and smoked cheddar cheese. The waffles are so thick and fluffy and the steak is the right tenderness. And, more French fries to dip in the clam or mussel sauce!

On one of our visits, we also celebrated Cheeks’ birthday at Two Sons with a Chocolate Lava Cake (RM18) and it was simply delicious. The cake was a little “cripsy” outside but soft on the inside, and it was oozing out melty chocolate. It was well-made unlike certain places where the lava can be on the drier side and not runny. Best of all, it is not overly sweet. Just the nice balance.
We couldn’t get an upclose photo of the Chocolate Lava Cake before it got attacked.
Verdict: Overall, the food is pleasant and the portion are sizeable. You can share the dishes such as the Philly Cheese Steak, Fish and Chips etc with friends if you are not a big eater. Be sure to order their signature Mussels or Clams with garlic bread. Keep some space for the Chocolate Lava Cake too.
