Getting around: Public transportation are very limited on the island. It is advisable to visit Langkawi’s best attractions by rented vehicle. Vehicles for rent are easily available at the airport and jetties. Please note that Malaysia’s vehicles are right-hand drive and we drive on the left side of the roads.

Driving around the island is very easy and enjoyable with almost non-existent traffic jams. Please be careful of monkeys’ crossings while cruising down roads between forests.

If driving is not your preference, taxis are available everywhere on the island.
