Byron Bay, Australia – A Perfect Escape with Beautiful Beaches

Tallow Beach

Situated between Cosy Corner to Broken Head, this 6.5km Tallow Beach is an unprotected beach. The waves at this beach is choppy and erratic with dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and frequent rips.

Keeping away from the water, this long, straight expanse of Tallow Beach is popular with dog walkers for several kilometres away from the Arakwal National Park.

Tallow Beach is accessible by walking south from Cosy Corner or from Suffolk Park, south of Byron Bay. Just park in the several small car parks along Alcorn Street and access from there.
